Elite Goalkeeper Academy - Winter 2011 & 2012

Winter Schedule at the KC Sports Lodge

                                            November: 11/7/11 - 11/28/11
                                            December:  12/5/11 – 12/26/11

                                               January:  1/2/12 – 1/13/12

                                              February:  2/6/12 – 2/27/12

All sessions are on Mondays this year with the following times:

U9 – U11 Players  (Junior Academy)   5:30-6:30pm

U12 – HS Players (Senior Academy)  6:30-7:30pm

Cost:  $75/month

During the academy sessions the goalkeeper s will work on numerous aspects of their game. These facets include but are not limited to:  ball handling, diving, deflecting, footwork, crosses, 1 v 1s, angles, distributions, communication, etc.  The purpose of the training is to put the keepers in more realistic training scenarios often times dealing with multiple balls.  We place the goalkeepers with training partners that are their age and in their level of development.  Each lesson focuses upon one specific part of goalkeeping to meet the needs of the keeper.
