Elite Goalkeeper Academy - February 2009

Winter Schedule at the KC Sports Lodge

February 2nd—February 25th

This academy is for Goalkeepers 12+ years of age and older.  This academy is not geared toward beginner goalkeepers—this academy is designed to prepared Goalkeepers for their upcoming outdoor seasons—specifically High School Goalkeepers wanting to prepare for tryouts!

 Cost:  $100/month for 2x week,

$75/month for 1x week 

Sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays

7:30pm—8:30pm 

During the academy sessions the goalkeeper will work on numerous aspects of their game. These facets include, but, are not limited to:  ball handling, diving, deflecting, footwork, crosses, 1 v 1s, angles, distributions, communication, etc.  The purpose of the training is to put the keepers in more realistic training scenarios often times dealing with multiple balls.  We place the goalkeepers with training partners that are their age and in their level of development.  Each lesson focuses upon one specific part of goalkeeping to meet the needs of the keeper. 

All sessions are led by former professional goalkeeper Craig Lammering.  Craig has over 15 years coaching experience and has established himself as one of the areas premier goalkeeper instructors.  Craig  played professional goalkeeper for the Colorado Comets from 1988-1993.  During his tenure with the Comets, he was voted Goalkeeper of the Year a earned League and Championship MVP honors multiple times.
