November: 11/7/11 – 11/28/11 December: 12/5/11 – 12/26/11 January: 1/2/12 – 1/30/12 4 and 5 year olds (up to u6 players): Little Strikers 5:30pm – 6:30pm 6, 7, 8 year olds (up to u9 players): Junior Strikers 5:30 – 6:30pm Junior Strikers Advanced (must be approved): 5:30 – 6:30pm 9,10, 11 year olds (u10-u12): Strikers 6:30 – 7:30pm 12 year olds to HS: Senior Strikers 6:30-7:30pm Strikers Advanced (must be approved): 6:30-7:30pm Cost: $60/month All participants will receive a Team Elite Dry Fit Practice Jersey! Each session of the academy will emphasize individual ball mastery, ball handling, fakes, feints, turns, 1v1’s, 2v2’s, individual attacking and shooting. We will also conduct sessions that focus on age appropriate development of passing, receiving, trapping, first touch, small sided games and finishing. All sessions will finish with small sided games that emphasize the coaching points of the session. We will accomplish these things while maintaining age specific training methods. We realize that many of our players are becoming more and more experienced each year and there is a need for more advanced training. Because we are expending our field space and increasing our number of instructors, this winter we are offering advanced skill training sessions. Advanced Skills Sessions will be conducted by former professional players Jeff Davis and Jeff Cole. Players must be approved prior to being accepted into these groups. Elite Coaching soccer academies were founded in 2005 and have quickly become the premier academy in the KC Metro Area. We were the first program to offer quality coaching to the masses without club and team commitments. Elite Coaching has worked with thousands of players through our academies, camps, summer soccer school, private lessons, goalkeeper trainings and team trainings. The Elite Coaching Soccer Skills Academy has quickly grown into KC's premier youth soccer academy. Elite Coaching has trained over 3,000 players over the past 6 years, The well rounded approach to skill building, quality instructors and a fun nonintimidating environment has allowed the academy to meet the needs of a variety of participants. The academy participants range from recreational players to premier players. We will group your player by age and ability to maximize their session. We provide excellent player/coach ratios. This year we are renting both fields each hour to improve the amount of space we have to work with. This will allow the coaches to expand training and for us to offer smaller groups.

Little Strikers (u5-u6) - A fun fast paced series of soccer related games and activities that are designed to target their developmental needs, introduce the game and teach basic skills. Our philosophy is that adults can play children’s games but children cannot play adult games, so the Elite Coaching staff is keeping up in the latest philosophies of the USSF National Youth Coaching Courses. We will tap into your child’s imagination of their desires to role play, imitate, take risk and present them with games and activities with lots of action. Your child will grow in confidence, develop motor skills and have lots of fun.
Junior Strikers (u7-u9) - The Junior Academy enables players to excel with the range of fundamental techniques necessary to play the game. They will learn dribbling, ball mastery, fast footwork, passing /receiving, and 1v1 skills through age appropriate instruction and small sided games. Depending on the age, players should progress in three technical stages: basic skills, advanced skills and competitive skills. These components of player development are taught in a structured format developed through increased pressurized situations. We will improve your players technique that will elevate your player’s ability to play attractive soccer as well as be competitive on the field.
Senior Academy (u12 & up) - Advanced techniques and tactics are introduced in this age group to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are age appropriate and individually and developmentally challenging. The basic method of training will focus individual skills on small side games designed to help players improve their personal level of performance in the tactical, technical and physiological area of individual development.
Whatever skill level your soccer athlete is currently playing at, you can expect improvement and development. Our methods have contributed to players making competitive teams, state, regional and national pool Olympic Development Teams and receiving college scholarships.
